On the PC side, if you were in mirror mode, open the Google Drive folder on your hard drive. The files are still there. You can move them to another location or leave them in place.

Even after stopping synchronization, files already present in Google Drive remain subject to your organization’s compliance rules (retention, data loss prevention, sharing restrictions). Uninstalling the client on your workstation does not change these policies on the server side.
